I'm Not a Writer
I'm just an old soldier who loves to tell his stories. I am writing them down now that I have more time on my hands,
These are the stories I have told over the years, and a few I may never have, the fun tales, not the scary ones I couldn't tell Mom.
I have always tried to relate them as they happened. When my buddies and I get together, we laugh about remembering details differently. That's probably normal, but these are my stories; let them write their own.
Some of these are pretty rough. One day, I'll go through them and make them better. Or Not.
I've often asked myself how a kid from Alabama got to do such things. Perhaps the Fates love a Fool.
